I technically run on 2 phalanx, only because you never know when one can be removed from play, or when you want to special summon a Red-eyes darkness metal dragon to special summon leyvaten equipped with phalanx > trident dragion > destroy 2 (a s/t card such as foolish burial and dragon ravine, if you think it's worth it) and that basically wins the duel if your opponent has a open field. So in short, get a 5 headed dragon and grave any 5 dragons in your deck using future fusion (Leyvaten, phalanx, aklys, light and darkness dragon, red-eyes darkness metal dragon/brandistock). Dux + phalanx > dragunity knight - vajrayana + phalanx > any 8 leveled (thought ruler archfiend / stardust dragon / collosal fighter / red dragon archfiend). Legionaire can do this too for catastor. Dragunities are one of the best archetypes to synchro easily with and Dragunity Phalanx is the key. Of course, the card came on time and nicely packaged to avoid damage.
